Free, no call attached
Already paying someone? Send us last month's report.
We read it and reply in writing: what it says, what it leaves out, and the one number that should be on it. If they are doing good work, we say so.
How it works
- 01
Forward the report
The PDF or export your marketing company sent for last month, to the address below, subject line Report read. Screenshots of a dashboard work.
- 02
We read it against the phone
Every line on it gets one of three labels: a number that means money, a number that means nothing, or a number that is missing.
- 03
You get a written reply
Within two business days. Under a page. No call needed, no quote attached unless you ask for one.
What a report shows, and what you can act on
| The report says | What you actually need to know | The number that should be on it |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions, sessions, clicks | How many people the site put on the phone or the form | Calls over 30 seconds and form fills, with the page they came from |
| Keyword rankings, average position | Which jobs those rankings produced | Rankings for the ten terms a homeowner in your town types, next to the map pack |
| Ad spend and cost per click | Cost per booked job | Spend ÷ jobs booked, which needs your job count |
| Reviews gained | Where the reviews came from and what they say | The review ask that produced them, and the ones that mention a person by name |
| "AI visibility" or "AEO" line items | Whether an assistant names you when asked who to call | The five buyer questions, four assistants, named or not, link or not |
| Tasks completed | What changed on the site and when | A list of pages shipped and edits made, with dates |
If you would rather score the site yourself first, the 31-point audit is the checklist we run at the start of every paid job.
Questions
What do you need from me?
Last month's report as they sent it, a PDF or a dashboard export, forwarded to the address above with the subject line Report read. Nothing else. If the report lives in a login, a screenshot of each page works.
What do I get back?
A written reply within two business days: what the report says in plain words, what it leaves out, which numbers are vanity and which are money, and the one number that should be on it and is not. Usually under a page.
Is this a pitch for switching?
It is a read. If the report shows a company doing honest work, the reply says so and you have a second opinion for free. If it hides the phone number count behind traffic charts, the reply says that too. What you do with it is yours.
Will you contact my current company?
No. The report stays between us, and nothing you send is shared, posted or used in our research without your written say-so.
What if I have no report?
That is the finding. A monthly fee with no monthly numbers behind it is the first thing to fix. Start with the free 31-point audit instead, which scores the site itself.
When the read says it is time
