Terms of service

The short version

This site is run by Riptide Growth, operated by Riptide AI Consulting LLC (Texas). Reading it, using the free audit, or contacting us costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Paid work is governed by a written, fixed-price proposal you sign before anything starts — that document always wins over this page.

Engagements

• Every project gets a written scope and a fixed price before work begins. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
• On completion and full payment, you own the deliverables — your site’s code exactly as it runs, the content we wrote for it, and the accounts created for your business (domain, hosting, analytics, listings) are yours or transferred to you.
• You own the site, not the tools we built it with. Our templates and build tooling stay ours. What you get is your site: the static files, or the WordPress install, whichever we built you. It runs anywhere, and any developer can work on it.
• Third-party services you keep using (hosting, domains, software subscriptions) are billed by those providers under their own terms once transferred.
• If we host your site: it runs on managed hosting we operate under the Riptide Growth name, with SSL, daily backups restorable for 30 days, and uptime monitoring. Platform uptime is targeted at 99.9% monthly. We respond to an outage the same business day and to an edit request within two business days. Your email is not hosted by us unless a signed SOW says so. Site Care has a 3-month minimum; cancel with 30 days’ notice after that. If you leave, we migrate the site to any host you choose at no charge within 30 days of your request. You pay the new host. You don’t pay us to let go.

Payment

• One-time builds are billed in two parts: a deposit when you sign the proposal, and the balance when the site is delivered. We don’t start until the deposit clears.
• Monthly plans bill automatically each month by card or bank account. Managed Marketing has a 6-month minimum; Site Care and Growth Partner have a 3-month minimum. All three are stated in the proposal. Site Care for a site we didn’t build carries a one-time $250 onboarding fee, waived with any build. After the minimum you can cancel any time; the site, domain, and leads stay yours either way.
• We accept card and ACH bank transfer through Stripe, and checks made out to Riptide AI Consulting LLC. Invoices are due within seven days. Card statements show “RIPTIDE GROWTH”.
• Prices are quoted before Texas sales tax. Where a service is taxable, tax is added to the invoice at the applicable rate.

The website audit is our professional opinion, provided as-is to be useful, not as a guarantee of any outcome. Search engines, AI assistants, and advertising platforms change their behavior without asking us first.

This website

The content on riptidegrowth.cois ours; don’t republish it as your own. We work to keep the site accurate and available but provide it without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our liability related to your use of this website is limited to whatever you paid us to use it — which is nothing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any part of this page is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Questions: matthew@riptidegrowth.co.
